Looking forward to seeing The David Sanborn Trio. This video was an interesting taste. I haven't seen many concerts that prominently feature the organ in years. Hmmm... not since The Guess Who and The Beach Boys? And I don't get to church much anymore!

Really enjoyed the video of Herb Albert and Lani Hall...what a glamorous life they must lead. :)

Markus A.

Didn't know about the "Summer Horns" show at CC Hills. Might have to check that out if it's still scheduled.

Rick O'Dell

Markus: The Summer Horns show is on. It's just a matter of when tickets go on sale. We should know any day now.

Summer Horns has me thinking... Any news if Dave Koz is doing his Christmas Show here this year? I've NEVER been! I was hoping this would be my year. Everyone says it's THE show to see. I was so sorry I had a scheduling conflict last year, what a line-up to miss!

Rick O'Dell

Hi Margie:

It's official. The Dave Koz & Friends Christmas concert will be at the Chicago Theatre on Saturday, December 7. Tickets will go on sale in a couple months. No, you don't want to miss this one!

Rick

Super Dave

Glad to hear Dave's coming back with the Xmas show. Haven't missed one yet! Do you know who will be coming with him? Didn't he mention at last year's show that Jonathan Butler will be back this year?

Rick O'Dell

Dave: Jonathan Butler will be back with Dave at the Christmas concert this year. Our boy Dave will be announcing the others soon.

Super Dave

What a list! Nice to see Chicago is STILL a place all these artists wish to perform.

Wow! Lots of great upcoming shows!!

Margie

Glad to see the blog is here. Al Jarreau is coming to Skokie right when I'm out of town! Noooo!!
